This article explains the registration process for parents, which can be done in approximately 30 seconds, flat!
1. Download the Parent Hub app
The Parent Hub app is available for download on Apple and Android phones and tablets. Just go to your app store and search for "Parent Hub". You're looking for an app icon that looks exactly like this...
2. Create an Account
When you open the app you'll be welcomed with a screen inviting you to login or create an account. If you haven't registered yet, choose the latter!
Next we'll ask you to create a profile which requires nothing more than your name.
That's your account created!
3. Set a passcode
To make sure that only you can get into the Parent Hub app, we ask you to create a 4-digit passcode. This is something you make up and shouldn't be shared with anyone. You'll have to enter it whenever the app locks (which it does when it's left on it's own for a while).
4. Enter your School Handle or Channel Code
To use Parent Hub you need a School Handle or a Channel Code from your child's school or teacher.
- School Handles are a bit like Twitter handle and usually come in the form @SchoolName.
- Channel Codes are made up of 8 numbers, e.g. 1234 5678.
If your child's school is using the paid version of Parent Hub then you might be asked to complete a few extra steps at the end of your registration.
